Palm Harbor Little League (PHLL) is a chartered member of Little League International. The league was first chartered in 1990 by our first league President John Gibalina and continues to this day as a volunteer organization.
Fun Fact: In our inaugural year in 1990, we had over 1,600 registered players, including 36 T-ball teams. According to Little League International and Little League Baseball and Softball, we held the record for the highest concentration of registered players per square mile of any chartered Little League in the world! Today, we average between 600 and 700 registered players each fall and spring season.
The goal of PHLL is to instill in the community's children the values of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority. By fostering these principles, PHLL aims to help children develop into well-rounded, confident, and happy individuals who grow into responsible, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.
To achieve this objective, PHLL will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Incorporated.
All Directors, Officers, Members, and players shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill of the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
In accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code, PHLL operates exclusively as a non-profit educational organization providing a supervised program of competitive baseball and softball games. Please click on
